CULTURE OF FEAR
“ Culture of Fear “ was inspired by skydiving with the spirit of freedom, discovery, experimentation, self-challenge, and courage and those are elements I challenge myself in fashion. From daring to turn inside to reflect on ourselves and change. We can discover many new perspectives and bring many valuable experiences such as skydivers flying in the air.
1976
"1976" was inspired by my dad. He works as a building construction worker. Through his work - where he is working : construction site, everything like smash building, stones, bricks, cenments, scaffolders, and so on. What he is wearing like protective gear. Especially, his tan skin and calluses hand . All that things inspires me alot about deconstruction technique in fashion. Beside, the things he does with his clothes make me think about what i have been doing and will do in the future . That makes me more caring about feeling of customer and function of clothes.
AM UONG
Exhibition or concept description /"Am Uong" collection is inspired by the evaporation of humid air of Northern Vietnam weather, when the air temperature rises to 90%, rainy, windy, hot, humid, slippery making it annoying people, a weather that makes everything sweaty. This chaotic erratic makes me think of my own mood and feelings as well as many young people these days when facing big life decisions when stepping on the path from a child to a young adult. become an adult, with a state of confusion, uncertainty, and self-doubt. An inner conflict and pressures from the outside, pressures that everyone around wants to be.
To face my problems, I choose to give myself some quiet time and listen to myself, understand, accept and love my weaknesses. This humiliation also makes me sensitive. special about everything. The way that I solve my problem is to go through it. With the desire to express invisible emotions to become visible, I exploit things that revolve around this wet season such as drops of water on glass windows, rain coats and exploit the fluid and emotional movement. of expressing emotions through the movement of dancing with water.
The main colour in this collection is black and the main materials are natural silk fabrics such as silk and taffeta. The reason I chose black and silk material is because I wanted to emphasise the flexibility, smoothness, and smoothness of silk like a flowing stream. Black makes attention shift to the shape of the suit and the details applique details on suit
